We develop AI solutions with our customers in focus

CleverCall is used by both private and public organizations that share one thing in common – a focus on GDPR.
ISAE 3000 GDPR
We have strengthened security by obtaining an ISAE 3000 GDPR auditor’s report. Concretely, this means auditing against GDPR requirements, following the frameworks of FSR and the Danish Data Protection Agency.
Analyze conversations without storing audio recordings
One of the features that makes CleverCall unique is that the Voicebot can transcribe conversations live. This means you don’t need to store phone calls in order to gain valuable data and insights. It is also possible to keep the audio recording with the user’s consent.
Data within the EU
All CleverCall data is hosted within Europe in compliance with Schrems II and all EU recommendations.

Handling of data flow and storage of personal data

In 2018, new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) legislation came into force. This meant that organizations now had to take a much more active stance on their data than before. For some time, cloud solutions have been on the rise, and as the focus on data management increases, it places significant demands on CleverCall.ai’s handling of data. In 2022, the Schrems II ruling further tightened the requirements for cloud solutions. To comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Authority, CleverCall.ai offers several options when it comes to data hosting. As a rule, CleverCall.ai only hosts with companies owned within the EU, in order to ensure data security.

CleverCall.ai does not need to record conversations but instead transcribes them. By default, all personal data is stored, but filters can be applied. When sensitive personal data is involved (race and ethnic origin, political beliefs, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data for unique identification, health data, sexual relations, or sexual orientation), it is immediately anonymized. In general, users also have the option to set a time-defined process for when data should be anonymized.

Why are my data stored?
For artificial intelligence to become smarter, it requires a lot of data. This data is used to identify where the bot provides the best answers and where there is room for improvement. When a human takes over the conversation, it is also useful to store previous data so the person taking over can see what has already been said. This way, the end-user avoids having to repeat themselves.
CleverCall.ai stores your data in the cloud, but also offers the option of on-premise storage. CleverCall.ai recommends using the cloud, since an on-premise solution requires more internal IT resources and makes updates more complicated. CleverCall.ai uses ScanNet’s cloud solutions, which is an EU-owned company.
It is always only a limited number of employees who have access to your data. These employees will typically be those who can either take over a conversation from the bot or relevant staff involved in optimizing the solution.
Data can only be accessed using two-factor login as well as various options for IP whitelisting.
Since ClaverCall.ai does not store any 'at rest' data in insecure third countries, your data are secure in the EU.
