Handling of data flow and storage of personal data
In 2018, new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) legislation came into force. This meant that organizations now had to take a much more active stance on their data than before. For some time, cloud solutions have been on the rise, and as the focus on data management increases, it places significant demands on CleverCall.ai’s handling of data. In 2022, the Schrems II ruling further tightened the requirements for cloud solutions. To comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Authority, CleverCall.ai offers several options when it comes to data hosting. As a rule, CleverCall.ai only hosts with companies owned within the EU, in order to ensure data security.
CleverCall.ai does not need to record conversations but instead transcribes them. By default, all personal data is stored, but filters can be applied. When sensitive personal data is involved (race and ethnic origin, political beliefs, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data for unique identification, health data, sexual relations, or sexual orientation), it is immediately anonymized. In general, users also have the option to set a time-defined process for when data should be anonymized.
